Hello past, present, & future optimists!
This past Sunday I attended church with my mom and aunt. It has been awhile since I have set foot in a church, but let me tell it felt great. Aside from praise worship, the sermon was what I needed, and assured me that I can do it. There’s this little powerful verse that has been instilled in me since I can remember, and honestly, I don’t think my life would be anything without knowing that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me Phil 4:13. I know every believer throws that little verse around in times of despair, but if you believe in him and his words then it will come to pass.
So there is power in words and we should never doubt its power. Recently I haven’t been 100% bubbly, if you see me you might think I’m lying, but I’ve been working on me. The thing is I want to start my own business and/or create my own brand but I haven’t quite figured it out yet. But then I’ll have this feeling like I know I will start it, but barely work towards it, but I remember to keep telling myself it will happen. It is so tough as a young adult especially if you are me, I have these big dreams but sometimes I feel like I can’t do it and no one will take me seriously because I’m young and look younger than my age.
Which brings me to the point of this post, I feel like my life is good but I want to do more and change the world, but how and when. Here’s the thing I took away from the sermon at church that made me calm, “When you feel like things are not right and you’re not where you want to be, just know it is well and eventually it will be well with God.”
So the takeaway message is if you’re feeling down and like you can’t do anything remember your time will come, not everything happens overnight so be patient, continue to work hard for what you want and it will happen.
